JustGrants implementation for DOJ

Description
Support the Department of Justice (DOJ) in rolling out an updated grants application software through technical writing, facilitation, communication efforts, and 508 accessibility testing.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) transitioned to a new grants management system called JustGrants in late 2020. My team assisted in the DOJ's efforts to ensure successful solicitation, award funds, and grant management through this new system. Through Agile workflows, we launched a complete learning package, including videos, job aids, infographics, and live training sessions. We also managed a training support inbox and provided compliant document updates.
Strategy
The team's charter was to ease the transition to the new software, simplifying the user experience, and providing supplemental marketing and educational materials.

Highlights
This is a small sampling of the reference materials we created for the initiative. Please note the use of a research-based documentation approach to the supporting documentation. Based on research, we made it easy for various users at all skill levels to use the documentation.
Linguistics also played a role in a variety of areas of this project. For example, the combination of visuals and text serves to guide users with varying levels of English proficiency.
